Process
Each concept contains several different images from NASA's archive, layered and cut together for a final image.

Each image within the sequence is meant to evoke a different aspect of the mystery of space and bravery of the early astronauts.

Below is a break down of one frame from this sequence.

Starting with a base image, the astronaut is masked out using other images and various techniques within Photoshop. Next is recoloring and more masking to bring out the focal point, which in this case is the window (or what will be seen through the window). The image of the flag on the moon is then layered into window area. Finally, stars are added, creating a subtle continuity between the other images, and is then recolored to match the rest of the sequence.
